Rep. Abante did it again!
In the House of Representatives, Rep. Bienvenido Abante (5th District, Manila City), the Chairperson of the Committee on Civil, Political and Human Rights, blocked anew the passage of HB 634, or the Anti-Discrimination Bill. Rep. Abante, a pastor of a Baptist church, claims that gay rights are not human rights.

if it is not human rights, then what right is it? can plants be discriminated? does lower forms of animals know what discrimination is? is gay aren’t human?
or may be this is just a reaction formation– a defense mechanism that is shown by doing the exact opposite of his (Abante) WHAT IS IN THE PSYCHE.
translation: Abante too is a gay but he doesnt want to recognize it because it would be painful for him…

He should never use the bible as his reference to law. He’s a lawmaker- his job is to protect and serve his citizens.. If he wants to preach, then resign and be a full time preacher… or perhaps join Shirley Phelps-Roper and her cult in Texas.
